PASIGARBO SA SUGBO: SAROK FESTIVAL CONTINGENT

“Sarok” is a native wide-brimmed hat usually made of rattan and commonly seen used in rural areas in the Philippines.  A municipality in the Province of Cebu holds a festival showcasing the sarok and it’s contribution to that locality.  In tagalog, it is called “Salakot”.

One of the shots I got during the street dancing activity called “Pasigarbo sa Sugbo” held to celebrate the founding anniversary of the Province of Cebu.
