OIL PRICE INCREASE AND THE JUNE 2008 SCHOOL OPENING

I attended PUBLIC SCHOOL IN CEBU CITY when I was in the elementary.  I had to take a JEEPNEY RIDE going to and from CEBU CITY CENTRAL SCHOOL.  I remembered competing for a JEEPNEY RIDE when there were already a lot of kids waiting on the street.  Classes starts at 6:30 in the morning.

But I never complained during those times.  All I remembered was that it was part of the school routine and I was already even lucky that I would not have to squeeze in the government’s KAOSHUNG BUS for a free ride.  Those JEEPNEY RIDES were in fact fun.

When I see kids cramped on a JEEPNEY on the way to school, I always remember my ELEMENTARY SCHOOL days and the fun that goes with BASIC EDUCATION IN CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES.
