A Cebuano’s Photography Experiments
In gazillion of times, I have been asked on what sport do I play. By that means what game sport am I good at. I would say none. I used to be a bit shy of that response. But now, I say it clearly with pride. Not that I refuse to learn any of the game sports rather have accepted that it simply doesn’t give me that much interest.
But I used to play soccer in my high school days and have for sometime enjoyed badminton. I have stopped playing organized sports since then. It simply bores me to near death. It is not also of a reason of projecting an intellectual persona, I simply am just that. The way I see it, some people are really good at sports, some aren’t.
I en still grin at the memory of a high school experience. Our english subject intructor assigned an essay to write about each one’s favorite basketball player. Then came my turn to read to the class my essay. It only had a few sentences with a very clear message and I could recall excerpts of it:
“I konw how to dribble, I know how to shoot the ball but I don’t drive the ball to the basket. I basically know basketball but I don’t play it competitively. All the more that I get bored watching basketball games on television. So I don’t have a favorite basketball player in mind…”
Or thereabouts as to how my essay went.
