ECO-FRIENDLY TRANSPORTATION OF EARLY CEBU CITY

This used to dominate the streets of CEBU CITY. We call this horse-driven carriage as tartanelya in CEBUANO. Though the tartanelya (BISAYAN), kalesa or karitela are not anymore used in Philippine streets nowadays, it was the mode of transportation. When I was still a kid, I remembered the tartanelya to be the mode of transport from Tabo-an to V. Rama.
