The PASIGARBO SA SUGBO Competition highlights the weeklong celebration of the Province of Cebu’s 439th Founding Anniversary. The street parade and dance showdown was participated by 34 municipalities in the province of Cebu which culminated at the Cebu Internation Convention Center.
PASIGARBO SA SUGBO: SAROK FESTIVAL CONTINGENT
“Sarok” is a native hat commonly seen used in rural areas in Asia. A municipality in the Province of Cebu holds a festival showcasing the sarok and it’s contribution to that locality.
One of the shots I got during the street dancing activity called “Pasigarbo sa Sugbo” held to celebrate the founding anniversary of theProvince of Cebu.

CONTRAST AND COLORS
What I like about this photo is the contrast of colors.
This is one of the common rolling snack stand in the Philippines. This snack stand sells processed flour and fish, which we locally term as “tempura” and “fishball”. One could find this very common near schools.
